Step-by-step Application Process 

Apply Online

The first step is to apply online in order to finalize your application and remit payment for your application fees.

Book your Biometric Appointment

After submitting your application online, you will be required to schedule a biometric enrolment appointment at an ASC. This is a procedure for capturing your photo and taking fingerprints which is referred to as biometric information.

Alternatively one may go to the VFS Premium Application Centre (PAC) venues to provide biometrics and also lodge applications. Where a VFS PAC is chosen to be attended, Premium Service will have to be bought.

Attending an ASC

You are only allowed to arrive for your ASC appointment on the correct date and time that has been scheduled for you. In case you arrive earlier or later, you will not be attended to. Do not arrive more than 15 minutes before the time of your appointment.

When you go to the ASC for your biometric appointment you are required to carry your active passport and the appointment confirmation letter which will be received from VFS Global upon booking an appointment.

Mobile, video and other filming devices are prohibited at the ASC.

Upon reaching the ASC you must:

Do not come with other people or family members for your appointment. Only an interpreter, attorney, or a person helping you will be allowed to come along with you.

Do not attend the appointment if the person is feeling unwell or shows signs of illness. In the event that you or any of your companions look unwell during the appointment, the ASC may ask you to postpone your appointment.

Submit your Application via Mail 

When stamping your appointment confirmation letter at the ASC, you will be required to mail within 5 days the appointment letter and your application form, UPS return shipping label, country-validated passport, and other materials (if you have not uploaded them within) to the official address. 

In all applications, your current passport with a minimum of one blank visa page on both sides should be included. In case of a passport not included in the application submission, the application will be held to be invalid.

Please note that priority service for processing your UK visa application within 5 working days or standard service within 15 working days will commence upon receipt of the above documents at the registered office.
